Sagebrush

My mind is on a desert journey and came up with this 12x16 painting of sagebrush on canvas paper, which can be matted and inserted into a 16x20 frame. If interested in purchasing this piece it is priced at  only $65, which does not include shipping, which should be cheap since it is paper. Contact me and payment can be done through PayPal.

Rocks In Meadow

This 12x16 oil on canvas paper was mostly painted with a pallet knife. This wonderful piece can be yours for $45 push shipping, which would be very inexpensive. Have an art store cut a mat 16x20 and then cut out the center to fit the painting.

Waves

Oil on 12x16 canvas paper - I tried to capture the action of waves before reaching shore. You can own an original F Coxen painting for a mere $50 - plus the cost of shipping, which would be inexpensive since it is paper. Have a frame shop cut a mat 16x20 and cut out the center to fit the painting, which would be 11x15.

Old Tree

Oil on 12x16 inch Canvan paper, which is a thick paper with the look of canvas and accepts oils, acrylics and water color - pretty awesome stuff. I wanted to test the paper so I decided to paint an old tree with character, and as they say, "the rest is history". You can add this painting to your art collection for only $45 plus the cost of shipping, which would be inexpensive. Have a frame shop cut a mat 16x20 and cut the opening for the painting 11x15.

Reeds at Sunrise

Florida offer outstanding sunset opportunities and this one happened to catch reeds silhouetted against the rising sun with morning fog in the background. This piece is oil on a 24x36 inch canvas.

The Wave

I stood in front of the 24x36 inch canvas trying to visualize what masterpiece would reveal itself. First up was a great looking sky but what to paint under it, an open field, or ocean waves during a storm? These attempts were soon wiped clean. Then an inspiration and my brush went on to paint the curl of a wave.

ultra marine blue, Phthalo Blue, Phthalo Green, white, and raw umber were used.

Will, I didn't like the way the wave story ended so I tried my best to screw-up the one I had, and after several tries I finally found what was missing and added it - such as the waves in the foreground and the wall of water to the right - all is not perfect but I'll leave it alone.
